Dr. Jason Jensen is a licensed naturopathic physician in the state of Arizona, and Medical Director of Desert Naturopathic Health, LLC. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science from Arizona State University and graduated with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona. He has held leadership positions in many graduate organizations, and received a leadership award from SCNM for his commitment to and advancement of the naturopathic profession. He is currently a member of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association, the California Naturopathic Doctors Association, and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Jensen is also certified Medical Director and Laser Safety Officer (LSO) by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA).
In addition to general practice, Dr. Jensen works with patients on bio-identical hormone therapy, functional medicine and neurotransmitter balancing. He emphasized homeopathy in his graduate level training under internationally renowned physicians Stephen Messer, ND, DHANP, and Eric Udell, ND.
Dr. Jensen currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Phoenix College teaching alternative healthcare classes. He is a member of the Heartpsring.net Health and Advisory Board, reviewing the latest clinical studies and writing and reviewing articles, and is a contributor to MedicineTalk.org, an organization that provides information based on both scientific evidence and clinical experience. Dr. Jensen was a regular co-host on the Health Insight radio show on KFNX 1100AM, and enjoys educating and working with the community.
